Chabad of the Philippines

Tragedy hits...who do you turn to? Chabad. A happy occasion, a lost relative, a sudden medical procedure, Proper Jewish burial, lack of funds for education and food, seeking guidance and direction, the will to learn and explore yourself and the world around you, warm kosher homestyle food, a safe warm educational environment for your child... Again, Chabad.
What and who is Chabad?
Chabad, under the leadership of the 7th Lubavitcher Rebbe, Rabbi Menachem M. Schneerson, sends Emissaries around the world to tend to the physical and spiritual needs of those in each country. Chabad adheres to the Orthodox practice of Judaism. The Chabad movement was founded in the late 18th century by Rabbi Shneur Zalman of Liadi, the first Rebbe of Chabad. The main philosophy of Chabad is GIVING and adding in GOODNESS AND KINDNESS and all services are funded solely by donations.
In November of 2008, the first Chabad House in the Philippines was founded in Manila by Rabbi Yossi and Tiferes Levy. Although it is one of the last countries in the world to have a Chabad House, the Philippines now had six centers throughout the country.
